Payments
Avoid advance payments to unknown people. Never send money only because someone creates urgency, offers an unusually low price or asks you to move the conversation outside SirfBolo.
Property
Verify ownership, authority to rent or sell, address, condition, documents, deposits and any agent fees before paying or signing anything.
Vehicles
Check ownership, registration, finance status, service history, condition and identity before paying. Inspect the vehicle and documents independently.
Jobs
Do not pay for a job offer, interview or guaranteed placement. Verify the employer, role, salary, location and contract independently.
Matrimonial
Take time to verify identity and important personal claims independently. Protect financial and identity information, meet safely and involve trusted family or friends where appropriate.
Messaging
Do not share passwords, one-time codes, banking credentials or sensitive identity documents through ordinary messages.
Meeting people
Prefer public places, tell someone where you are going and avoid carrying large amounts of cash. Trust your judgement and end the interaction if something feels wrong.
Verification labels
A verification label applies only to the item explicitly stated. It does not automatically verify every claim made by a user or advertiser.
Urgent danger or fraud
If you believe you are in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency service. For suspected fraud, preserve messages, payment details and advert references before reporting the matter.
